First Selectman's Office

First Selectman Tom Weik was born and raised in Morris, where he attended James Morris School and Wamogo Regional High School before continuing his education in Boston. He and his wife, Lisa, have three daughters, all of whom attended local schools before pursuing higher education.

A dedicated and longtime community volunteer, Tom has served Morris in numerous capacities, including the Sandy Beach Commission, Morris Public Library Board of Directors, Bantam Lake Authority, Bantam Lake Rehabilitation Committee, Bantam Lake Protective Association, Morris Land Trust, Morris Historical Society, Morris Fire Company, and The Reading Room and Museum Committee of the James Morris Library. He also served two terms on the Board of Selectmen prior to being elected First Selectman in 2015.

Tom maintains an open-door policy at Town Hall and welcomes the opportunity to speak with residents in person, by phone, or via email.
